Baseline Trail is an easy trail that leads along Baseline Road within Chautaugua Park. It connects the Chautaugua parking area to the Gregory Canyon parking area.

Baseline Trail parallels Baseline Road within the Chautaugua Park boundary. It leads .4 miles west from Chautaugua parking area. A minimal gain in elevation and a smooth gravel surface makes this a good trail for small children and strollers.

Directions: From Highway 36, Take the Baseline Road exit and travel west toward the mountains. Follow Baseline Road nearly 1.5 miles to the entrance for Chautaugua Park. Turn left into the park. Parking is free at this trailhead.

Ending Elevation: 5,760 feet
