The Saddle Rock Trail leaves the Gregory Canyon Trailhead and begins climbing southwestward. (It may also be accessed via the Amphitheater Trail.) It winds along the western slope of the Flatirons to a formation called Saddle Rock. The path leads through the saddle of the rock and continues climbing. Within 1.3 miles it joins the Greenman Trail. The surface of the Saddle Rock Trail is dirt with large rocks strewn over steep terrain. It may be used in conjunction with other trails in the area to form a loop within the park. There are several points for climber access from this trail.
Directions: From Highway 36, Gregory Canyon Trailhead Access: Take the Baseline Road exit and travel west toward the mountains. A parking fee is charged at this trailhead for vehicles not registered in Boulder County or not displaying a Boulder Resident Permit.
