• This is the place for which Acapulco became known decades ago and tourists still gather to watch the famous cliff divers leap from 148-foot cliffs into the shallow water. Divers must time their dive so that they catch an incoming wave.
• The sunset views are great, the food is okay but overpriced, and watching the divers is fun. Kids today will have no interest in the Hollywood history of this place or the zillions of photos on the wall of old Tinseltown stars who once came here.
• You can get the best view of the divers by hopping on one of the tour boats that floats out in the water near where the divers land.
