The area is small enough to cover on a leisurely stroll that could combine artsy boutique shopping, galleries, cafes, and restaurants in an authentically untouristy environment that attracts local artists and intellectuals. The best place to start would be the Art & Culture magazine office on Soi Romanee—a former quaint, cobble-stoned red-light district between Dibuk Road and Thalang Road—in the heart of where most of the architectural gems are located.
