The award-winning Phuket Fantasea is the most popular attraction of Thailand. It’s an over-the-top Vegas-style extravaganza with the proverbial cast of thousands (or so it seems) that includes 30 live elephants. The sound and ballet spectacle with special effects, pyrotechnics, and acrobatics create a Magic Kingdom version of Thai culture (although some of the sets appear to be Cambodian inspired) and state-of-the-art entertainment. It’s definitely a one-of-its-kind campy theatrical evening not to be missed. Show starts at nine in the evening, but can be combined with a pre-show buffet dinner in a theme park setting with shopping and games.
