• The path to the shore actually accesses two beaches. Ulua is to the left, while Mokapu, which fronts the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort, is to the right.
• Ulua is a well-known snorkel and dive site, though the water isn't always clear. Those who know say the best area is around the rocky point at the southern end of the beach.
• Walk to Mokapu Beach in front of the Renaissance for access to concessions with watersports rentals.

Named one of the Top 10 Most Beautiful Beaches in America, Ulua is a wide beach and the ocean has an easy-on-the-feet sandy bottom for easy entry and swimming.
