One of Stockholm's most prominent buildings, the massive glass Kulturhuset, is also one of its most popular, attracting more than three million visitors each year. A testament to the Swedes' devotion to the arts, Kulturhuset has been ground zero for all things cultural in the capital for a quarter century. Its highlights include a wide range of art, dance, , fashion, film, literature, music, performance, and theatre. Many of the events and exhibitions, such as the late 2008 Nan Goldin photography show, have strong gay interest. Kulturhuset also served as a main venue and information site during Stockholm's recent EuroPride festivities.
