Deer Harbor Marina has 110 boat slips and guest dockage for vessels of all sizes. Located 75 miles north of Seattle at the center of the San Juan Islands, the marina rents bicycles, kayaks, and boats. A shuttle takes travelers to the ferry, restaurants, and entertainment on the island.

  • This Orcas Island marina has plenty of boat slips and other amenities for those arriving by water, as well as perks for visitors staying nearby.
  • You can rent kayaks and small boats at the marina, or hook up with a guide. Deer Harbor Charters runs whale-watching cruises out of the marina; Shearwater Sea Kayaks offers three-hour guided tours; and Northwest Classic Daysailing leads three-hour sails.
  • In addition to water activities, visitors can rent bikes at Deer Harbor or follow along on one of Gnats Nature Hikes, which includes treks at Moran State Park or a combo boat ride and hike at one of the state marine parks.
