The Beach House is an upscale restaurant and bar right on the beach, just a short stroll from the gay Blue Chairs Beach. Opened in early 2008 by Marco Quinonez, an openly gay former Four Seasons Hotel manager, his superior training is evident from the quality of service. You can sit on one of its beach chairs all day and be treated like royalty as long as you spend $15 per day. There's only about 40 beach chairs, but there is more seating at the bar, which is privately cordoned off by hedges. Restaurant table seating is available on the terrace just above the bar. The crowd here is a fashionable mix of gay and straight, and reservations are strongly suggested in the high winter season.
