Directions: From Durango, Colorado, Drive north on County Road 240 (Florida Road) for 14 1/2 miles. At Helen's Store, continue north for about 7 miles on County Road 243. After Lemon Reservoir, the road passes through 2 miles of private land, then meets the East Florida Road (Forest Service Road 597). The Transfer Park and Florida Campground turnoff is on your left. Continue 1 3/4 miles, watching for the trail on your left side at the fifth switchback. Parking is roadside.
