The Ah Haa School, founded in 1990, is an educational center that offers a schedule of year-round classes in a variety of subjects including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, silk dyeing, bookbinding, printmaking, jewelry, body/movement and language arts. The facilities include a black-and-white darkroom and ceramics studio open for public use, studio and classroom spaces, dance hall/gallery and administrative offices. Local and regional artists show their work in various exhibitions throughout the year, and the Schools is also the home of The American Academy of Bookbinding,
