This challenging mountain bike singletrack contours the hillside at an elevation of 8,000 feet west of Park City. Riders enjoy views, alpine forests, and meadows. The altitude change is 1,400 feet, but with the ups and downs, the total climb is approximately 3,000 feet. The section of trail at 8,000 feet is 11.3 miles one-way, and there are several trails to reach either end. You could climb up Spiro Trail in 3.5 miles from near Park City Mountain Resort, follow the Mid Mountain Trail to its northern end at The Canyons Resort, descend 4 miles on the resort's lift road, then return to Park City in 2.5 miles on the paved Olympic Trail—a total loop distance of about 21.3 miles.
