You'll find Land's End at the Baja peninsula's southernmost tip, where gigantic rock formations shaped by weather and water jut into the sea. Land's End Arch is a magnificent rock of red and gold that forms a natural bridge. At sunrise, the cliff peaks glimmer like a diamond's facets.

A stroll along shore at low tide is a fine way to see the eroded passageways and rock islands claimed by sea lions, but the currents are far too strong for swimming. Snorkeling is safest on the Sea of Cortez side of Lover's Beach, a protected cove reached only by water.
