Rare for Central America, San Jose's gay nightlife is pumping and fun and surprisingly out. Club Oh! is San Jose's "Western style" club, with music tending towards U.S./U.K. dance club hits. There are two dance floors where the locals love to shake their groove thing, male strip shows, flashing lights, and all-you-can-drink beer on certain nights. By U.S. standards, Club Oh! is decidedly low tech, but everyone always seems to have a great time here, chatting and socializing like only the Costa Ricans can. Women, men, and a few straights can all be found here.
