Room rates start at $900. The resort boasts that Ricky Martin and desperate housewife Terry Hatcher have both stayed here. The food and service at La Canoa are impeccable. The restaurant bills the food as "La Cuisine de los Soles," a fusion of spices and chilies from various warm weather countries. The resort is about a 30-minute cab ride from the Cancun Hotel Zone.
