La Habichuela has won a slew of awards for its cuisine and service. Its Mexican specialties include beef filet tips and chicken enchiladas. The food is on the pricey side, but it's a unique dining experience that you won't find in the States. The restaurant was once a family home but has since expanded while still keeping a homey touch. The building's facade as well as its sculptures were painstakingly built to replicate the Mayan city of Uxmal in the southwest of Cancun.
