The classic, original gay Hong Kong club hangout has been around for ages, but shows no sign of slowing down. Close to the nightlife district of Lan Kwai Fong, Propaganda's discreet entrance is located in a back alley that's a bit hard to find—look for the alley off Pottinger Street. It's a dark, huge, spacious, and upbeat club with expensive cover charges and drinks, but it's worth it if you want to feel like you've really experienced gay life in Hong Kong. The loud dance floor is always packed, but there's a smaller, quieter conversation bar as well. Propaganda stays open late and is busiest after the other nearby gay bars close, especially on the weekends.
