Locals are very proud of Ocean Park, and rightly so. With so many attractions visitors are hard pressed to choose their favorite. Older children might like white-knuckle rides like the Abyss Turbo Drop and the Eagle; the former hurtles riders towards the ground in a free fall that descends 185 feet (the equivalent of falling from the top of a 20 story building), while the latter spins them around at gravity defying speeds 77 feet above ground. Younger children are better catered to in Whiskers Harbour, where the rides geared towards them include a merry go round and sideshow games, such as basketball, that have been scaled down. In Marine Land visitors thrill at the myriad sharks swimming past in the Atoll Reef. Two of Ocean Park's newest residents, the giant pandas LeLe and YingYing, will enthrall every member of the family.
