Exit Glacier is the only part of Kenai Fjords National Park accessible by road. There's a nature center and trails that take visitors right up to the face of the glacier. Park rangers lead tours from the nature center.

  • Although this is part of Kenai Fjords National Park, it's the only part of the park accessible by road, and it's just three miles from Seward. To see the glacier up close, you do have to get out of your car and walk a ways.
  • Take a ranger-led walk to learn about the importance of glaciers and Alaskan geology.
  • Stop in at the Exit Glacier Nature Center for hands-on exhibits and a great bookstore.
