• Among the behind-the-scenes and close-up tours to sign up for are: Octopus Encounter (minimum age 6), Puffin Encounter (minimum age 12), Behind-the-Scenes Tour (minimum age 12), and the Marine Mammals Family Program (must make reservations 48 hours in advance for this one).
• Who knew puffins could paint? For a truly unique souvenir and to support the work this facility does, buy a painting done by one of the center's artistic puffins (it includes a photo of the artist).
• This facility is both an aquarium and wildlife rescue center.
