But rise at dawn, grab a couple of lattes, and wander down here together to see the silhouettes of the statues along the bridge hover like ghosts in the morning mist. You'll have the bridge almost to yourselves. Come again right before sunset, when the tourists have returned to their hotels for the day. If you're lucky, white swans will swim past as you gaze across the Vltava River. As the lights of the castle, the National Theater, and the historic buildings flicker on, the cityscape takes on a whole different look.
