This secluded beach is on a wide bay lined with dramatic cliffs. A beautiful spot to beachcomb, there is also good snorkeling on the southern end.

  • Water sinks down to nice shallow levels at low tide, when the bay opens up to small surrounding beaches. In deeper water, snorkelers will find starfish stuck to the reef.
  • The beach is stocked with umbrellas and grills, which are snatched up quickly by locals on weekends.
  • Campers can set up for the night, but without repellent prepare for an itchy morning. Sites are a little more bearable at Playa El Tecolote.
