Since acquiring Bronx almost three years ago, owner Bruno Bunn has focused his efforts on "polishing the jewel" that is Cape Town's longest running gay venue. Upgrades have included large screen plasma TVs, a beefed-up sound system, and revamped bathrooms done in slick metal and slate finishes. The venue itself has grown as well, resulting in an expanded upstairs cocktail bar and the introduction of a sexy private back bar for men only. Open seven nights a week and featuring some of Cape Town's top DJs, Bronx also has a large leather clientele.
