- Although touristy, it's a fun way for families to see the city and get a good overview. Because you can sit down and relax, it's an ideal choice for the first day of sightseeing if you are tired from traveling but don't want to miss out on a day of exploring.
- Three trains are available. One train leaves from the Quai du Mont-Blanc and travels along the shoreline to the Botanical Garden. The second leaves from the Jardin Anglais (English Garden) and goes along the bank of the lake. The third tour, more of a tram, goes through Old Town.
- The trains run primarily from March through October.
