• Before visiting go to www.thebritishmuseum.ak.uk to download the Visiting with Children pamphlet listing the Kids' Top 8 galleries, where to pick up backpacks, art supplies, and family tours, the location of restaurants, and more.
• Try the Family Audio Tour, borrow activity backpacks, follow children's "trail" guides to various areas of the musuem; borrow pads and crayons from the Reading Room and let kids sketch what they see in the Islamic Gallery.
• Be sure to ask at the Information desk where the hands-on tables with objects to touch are located on the day you're there.
