The Queenbar is a small, friendly, and loud club with lots of international music and yes, you guessed it, drag queens. Music is spun by a local DJ who's also known as a local hottie. The club prides itself on both not letting in the riff raff and in being very down-to-earth and not like other neighborhood "snob" clubs. Décor is clean, with lots of glass and that underlit blue light that Turkish gay clubs seem to love, and there's a quieter upper floor lounge as well. Impromptu events here include male strippers and even a male belly dancer or two, and events tend to occur at random so they aren't always listed on the Web site.
