The famous artist captured love and sensuality in a variety of mediums, perhaps most famously in the sculpture known as The Kiss. His works depicting Adam, Eve, and Orpheus—among the saddest of all mythical lovers—are exquisite and placed around the equally exquisite garden of this tantalizingly evocative Paris museum. The main building of the museum, known as Hotel Biron, once let rooms to such famous artists as Henri Matisse, Isadora Duncan, Jean Cocteau, and Rodin himself. It is the garden, though, that will inspire romance with its intentionally intimate pathways, rose garden, and arbors.
