• The Centre is famous for its inside-out design--utility pipes, in vibrant colors, are on the outside of the building. So is the escalator, definitely one of the things here kids like best.
• The Centre houses the French National Museum of Modern Art, definitely a must-see. It features 20th century works by Picasso, Magritte, Chagall (whose art seems to engage all ages), Matisse, and other painters whose unique perspectives fascinate kids.
• For a meal with a view, go up to Georges, the Centre's panoramic restaurant. And don't miss the ubiquitous buskers (street performers) near the Centre's entrance--they can amuse families for hours.
