  • Go early in the morning or close to sunset for cooler temps and slimmer crowds at this exceedingly popular world wonder
  • No bags or backpacks are allowed on the Acropolis (you can check them at the entrance), so be sure to wear clothing with plenty of pockets to carry valuables, cameras, water, and snacks
  • Sometimes open later on summer evenings when there's a full moon, this is an especially atmospheric time to visit
