A lovely gay-owned restaurant built in 1937 on the Buda side of the city. Hungarian specialties are the order of the day (yes, that includes goulash) and the restaurant has their own mini farmyard full of pheasants, chickens, and roosters. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten track so either take Bus 65 From Kolosy square in Buda to the last stop or take a cab from the Hilton Hotel at the Pinnacle of the Buda hill across the Chain Bridge from Pest. Worth the trip to take a trip back in time to old Hungary and definitely not cookie-cutter or boring-trendy.
