This handsome, white-painted chapel was literally built at the centermost point of the Koster Islands so that all islanders would be equally close to the island's center of worship. Interestingly, the island's graveyard stands apart near a small bay so that the bodies of the deceased could be more easily transported in! On the hill overlooking the church, there's an easy stairway trail leading to the Koster Islands' highest point and a nice panorama of the surrounding islands and ocean.
