The queer quotient is always high at 'The Kingdom That Walt Built' thanks to gay-friendly employment policies. You're sure to spot "family" at work among the quartet of theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. But the first weekend in June, the princess and fairy component takes a very gay turn: Gay Days brings 135,000 LGBT visitors to town, and they hit the parks en masse wearing red or rainbow-colored shirts. The gayest spot on the property is the Magic Kingdom on the first Saturday of June. For adult-style thrills year-round, Hollywood Studios — home to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and the Gay Days circuit event One Mighty Party — is the clear winner. If you're looking for grown-up fun without the queer chaos, Epcot hosts an annual International Food and Wine festival from late September through early November.
