The largest park in the Gulf Islands, Ruckle has 7 km of shoreline, rocky headland and tiny coves to explore. Children can look for starfish, sculpins, oysters, crabs, mussels and other creatures in tidepools, enjoy seaside picnics and keep an eye out for seals, sea lions and killer whales. Set up camp on the beach or one of the island's grassy plateaus, and be prepared to wake up to a dramatic sunrise from your sleeping bag. There are eight car camping sites and 78 walk-in sites, all available year-round.
