Scuba Coiba is Santa Catalina's first local dive operation. It's located right in the village and runs two dive boats, offering trips to more than a dozen local dive sites as well as full-day and overnight trips to Coiba Island. Non-divers and snorkelers can join the local or Coiba Island dive trips, and whale watching tours can be arranged during the season. The dive center's multilingual staff (English, Spanish and German) teaches the standard slate of PADI classes, including introductory lessons and open water certifications. Dive/accommodation packages can be arranged at the Santa Catalina Inn.
