  • Beginner lessons include a ten-minute land lesson to cover surfing basics and water safety.
  • The typical Surf Camp schedule includes two two-hour surf lessons a day, and a daily fun activity like hiking Diamond Head, snorkeling Shark's Cove, attending a luau, and visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center or Sea Life Park. All camp participants go home with a personalized surf video of their trip and a Ty Gurney Surf School t-shirt.
You will be given a rashguard to wear over your suit, and then you will spend ten minutes in a land lesson where you learn surfing fundamentals including paddling, duckdiving, and how to stand up on your board.
