Not as well known as its neighbor Super Paradise, Elia is the most gay-popular beach on the island, with a loyal straight following as well. It's wider and quieter than the more hip and happening Super Paradise, and it's buffered on its western shore by huge rocky outcrops that hide another scenic, smaller beach called Agrari. Elia is easily reached by taxi or motor scooter, although you can opt for the traditional taxi boat as well. An open-air taverna serving fresh seafood sits at the back of the beach, and chaise longues and umbrellas are for rent as well. Although you can sunbathe nude here, many prefer to keep their suits on. Either way, the gin-clear waters beckon everyone in eventually.
