This uninhabited, low-lying isle is a popular destination for snorkeling tours on bigger boats, many that include short kayaking side trips. (By all means avoid the noisy mini-cruise ships that carry up to 100 people at a time.) It's part of a national park and a marine reserve, making for pristine underwater life. In the shallow areas, you may see small sharks, and there's a bank of coral reefs with staghorn/antler corals running north to south on the island that make for fascinating snorkeling. There are also marvelous beaches in the north and east of the island. At low tide, it is possible to walk right around the island.
