Look for an adventurous path? Try Green Ash Trail where very little level ground and several steep slopes keep the user alert. Some like to think of this route as similar territory to what the early settlers experienced as the crossed the Appalachian Mountains during the 1700s. The trail 2 miles in length and is marked with green blazes. Mountain bikers, hikers and equestrians all enjoy this beautiful trail which is graciously maintained by Wheel Base, a bike shop in the town of Frederick.
