Six miles of hiking trails provide strenuous and / or casual walks to scenic locations. The adjacent state forest has several miles of bridle trails. Horses are not provided by the park or forest. Backpacking enthusiasts are invited to explore 3 miles of field, forest and shoreline. The dense forest and remote location of Pike Lake State Park affords good wildlife viewing opportunities and nature study.

Directions: From Bainbridge, OH, Travel east on U.S. Route 50 about one mile turning right (south) onto Potts Hill Road. Take Potts Hill several miles south to Pike Lake Road which carries you into the park. Park office provides detailed trail and backpack maps. Horse trail brochures for the state forest are also available at the state park office.
