This trail travels by Comanche Reservoir which offers good fishing opportunities. The trail offers a nice 1 mile spur west of Comanche Reservoir to Comanche Lake. Beyond Comanche Reservoir, the trail leads up Beaver Creek linking to the Brown's Lake Trail #941, or on to the Flowers Trail #939.
Directions: From Fort Collins, Travel west about 30 miles up the Poudre Canyon, Highway 14, to the Pingree Park Road (County Road 63E). Follow the Pingree Park Road south approximately 16 miles to Forest Road 145. Travel north on Forest Road 145 2 miles to the site.

Ending Elevation: 11,120 feet
Elevation Gain: 1,720 feet
Usage: Moderate
