Flowers Trail #939 runs from the west end of the Flowers four-wheel drive road and leads south west, through the Comanche Peak Wilderness, to Peterson Lake. Formerly used as a wagon trail in the late 1800's this trail ties into numerous other trails (Big South, Brown's Lake and Zimmerman, for example) in the Crown Point-Mummy Range area.
Directions: From Fort Collins, Take Hwy 14 west out of Fort Collins to the town site of Egger (approx 30 miles). Turn south at the Pingree Park Road (County Road 63E), and go about 5 miles to the Old Flowers Road, also labeled the Jack's Gulch Road. This four wheel drive road runs 6 miles to the Flowers Trail, taking off from Beaver Park.
