A pleasant short interpretive trail that is well worth the journey.

Fern Hollow Trail is only 0.9-mile in length and is blazed in red. It has elevations of 60 to 100 feet. It is an interpretive trail that has a brochure to accompany the markers. The brochure is available at the park office.

Directions: From Fredericksburg, VA, Caledon Natural Area is located in King George County between Fairview Beach and Owens. It is 20 miles east of Fredericksburg on Rt. 218. Upon entering Caledon, park by the visitor center. Fern Hollow Trail begins behind the visitor center.

Elevation Gain: 40 feet

Distance: 0.9 miles
