The Fourche Mountain Trail is situated close to the Mill Creek Recreational Area off U.S. Highway 270. The trail offers visitors various levels of difficulty

Trail Highlights: The Fourche Mountain Trail ( formerly Mill Creek Equestrian Trail ) offers breathtaking views of Fourche Mountain and Buck Knob. Abandoned silver mines, beautiful streams and several views of the Ouachita Mountains are among the trail sites. While the trail network provides horseback riding opportunities, it also offers day hiking and mountain biking.

Trail Information: Yellow rectangles with numbered junctions mark this trail. The trail has a combination of unsurfaced and road surfaces.

Surrounding Areas: Mill Creek Recreation Area and Campground.

Directions: From Waldron, Take U.S. Highway 70 south to Hwy. 270. Follow 270 east, up Mill Creek to the Mill Creek Recreation Area.

Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous
