This main dive site of Caño Island is a small lava-rock cave that's, you guessed it, full of snoozing whitetip reef sharks. While Bajo del Diablo is the place to find big fish, Shark Cave boasts an impressive display of smaller tropicals. Angelfish, butterflyfish, and Moorish idols dominate the shallow, rocky reef, and the cracks and crevices in the rocks provide hiding places for more than five types of eel. The depth here ranges from 30 to 50 feet, making it a good option for less-experienced divers, or as a second dive after exploring a deeper site. (-) Close
