This collection of rock spires jutting out of the ocean near Pelican Island is said to resemble an American Indian headdress from a distance, hence the name. Snorkelers and divers alike will find plenty to occupy them at this simple yet feature-rich dive site. The spires bottom out on the sandy seafloor about 50 feet down. Sea fans, corals, and sponges adorn the vertical formations, while hawksbill turtles and snapper meander through the water column. Along the dive path, divers can explore small tunnels and caves through the rocks, filled to the brim with glassy sweepers.
