The Brothers Trail offers climbing access to the South Brother (6,866 ft) via Lena Lake Trail. This moderate grade trail passes through forested areas and a lush, green, moss-covered valley with an intermittent stream in The Brothers Wilderness. The hike climbs from 1800 ft at Lena Lake to 3100 ft at The Brothers Base Camp and then climbs for an additional mile and a half to the summit. Climbing of The Brothers requires proper climbing gear (helmet, ice ax and rope).

Directions: From Hoodsport, Travel Highway 101 for 14 miles north to Forest Service Road 25. Follow 25 for 8 miles to the trailhead. Hike Lena Lake Trail for 3.6 mi. to the beginning of The Brothers Trail.
