The 1.1 mile Big Creek Campground Loop Trail is a flat "easy" day hike which offers opportunities for day-hiking, fishing, wildlife observation, bird watching, and camping. This is a great trail for jogging. There is a picnic shelter in campground for small and large groups. The trail is forested and has one crossing of Big Creek as it follows the perimeter of the campground.

Directions: From Hoodsport, From Hwy. 101, go 9 mi. on State Hwy. 119 (Lake Cushman Rd.) to "T" in road (FS Rd #24 - Jorsted Creek Rd). Turn left, travel 100 ft. and go into Big Creek Campground. The trailhead is located 200 ft. inside the gate on the main campground road. (When day-hiking, park in the trailhead parking lot.
