• Traffic in Waikiki and Honolulu can be a nightmare, to say nothing of parking. Solution? Hop on the Waikiki open-air trolley. There are four routes and the trolleys that travel them are well marked.
• Stops on the Red Line, including the Honolulu Academy of Arts and Chinatown, focus on history and culture. The Blue Line is ocean oriented with breaks at Sea Life Park and Hanauma Bay (photo op only). The Pink and Yellow lines take riders shopping—Pink to Ala Moana Mall, and Yellow to the Farmer's Market and Ward Centers.
