  • The visitor center is open from early spring through late fall. Check the website for current hours.
Opened in 2006, this modern $7.8 million facility has a high-definition theatre for a virtual adventure to the best spots in the park. Its exhibit gallery includes a full-size lighthouse, a rock "flowerpot" formation, a black bear and rattlesnake.
