Burnaby Narrows, between Moresby and Burnaby islands, is a shallow, 50-metre (160-foot) wide channel that's teeming with marine life. Nearly 300 different species of intertidal creatures have been counted – including an average of 74 bat stars per square metre (10.76 square feet). On kayak in an ebbing tide, Burnaby Narrows provides one of the most colorful and fascinating floats of your life.
